AGREEMENT TO TERMS
Welcome to Healthy Nikah ("we," "us," "our," or "Company"). These Terms & Conditions (the "Agreement") govern your use of the Healthy Nikah mobile application (the "App") and all associated services (collectively, the "Service").
By downloading, installing, or using the Healthy Nikah App, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
1. ELIGIBILITY & USER REQUIREMENTS
1.1 Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to use Healthy Nikah. By using this Service, you represent and warrant that:
- ✅ You are 18 years of age or older
- ✅ You have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement
- ✅ You have the legal capacity to enter into an Islamic marriage contract (nikah)
- ✅ You are not married or in a committed relationship (if seeking marriage)
- ✅ You are not prohibited by law from using this Service
If you are under 18, you may not use this App. We will immediately suspend and delete any account discovered to belong to a minor.
1.2 Jurisdictional Eligibility
This Service is available primarily to users in the United Kingdom and European Union. If you access this Service from outside your country of residence, you are responsible for complying with local laws. We cannot guarantee the Service complies with laws outside the UK/EU.
1.3 Legal Capacity
You represent that you:
- ✅ Are not subject to any court order or legal restriction preventing you from seeking marriage
- ✅ Have no outstanding matrimonial/divorce proceedings (unless divorced/widowed and legally able to remarry)
- ✅ Are of sound mind and capable of entering into a legal contract
- ✅ Have disclosed any material information that would affect your eligibility for marriage
2. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION & VERIFICATION
2.1 Registration Requirements
To use Healthy Nikah, you must:
- Create an account with accurate personal information
- Verify your email address via confirmation link
- Verify your phone number via SMS or call
- Confirm your age (18+)
- Accept these Terms & Conditions
- Accept our Privacy Policy
- Provide a profile photo (clear, recent, recognizable face)
2.2 Information Accuracy
You guarantee that all information you provide is:
- ✅ True, accurate, and complete
- ✅ Current and up-to-date
- ✅ Not misleading or deceptive
- ✅ Your own information (not someone else's photo or identity)
If any information becomes inaccurate, you must update it immediately. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we discover:
- ❌ False or misleading information
- ❌ Catfishing (using someone else's photos)
- ❌ Fake profiles or bot accounts
- ❌ Information discovered during verification that contradicts your claims
2.3 Healthcare Professional Verification (If Applicable)
If you claim to be a healthcare professional (doctor, nurse, pharmacist, etc.):
- ✅ You must provide valid professional credentials (medical license, registration number)
- ✅ We may verify your credentials with regulatory bodies (GMC, NMC, GPhC, etc.)
- ✅ False professional claims will result in immediate account termination
- ✅ You understand misrepresenting professional status may constitute fraud
2.4 Account Security
You are responsible for:
- ✅ Keeping your password confidential
- ✅ Not sharing your login credentials with others
- ✅ Using a strong, unique password
- ✅ Immediately notifying us of unauthorized account access
- ✅ Logging out when using shared devices
We are NOT responsible for unauthorized access due to your negligence or loss of data if someone gains access to your account.
2.5 One Account Per Person
You agree to maintain only ONE active account per person. Creating duplicate accounts may result in termination of all accounts.
3. USER CONDUCT & ACCEPTABLE USE
3.1 Prohibited Conduct
You agree NOT to use Healthy Nikah for:
Fraud & Deception:
- ❌ Creating fake accounts or false profiles
- ❌ Catfishing (pretending to be someone you're not)
- ❌ Misrepresenting age, appearance, profession, or marital status
- ❌ Using someone else's photos or identity
Harassment & Abuse:
- ❌ Sending abusive, threatening, or harassing messages
- ❌ Bullying, intimidation, or making unwanted sexual advances
- ❌ Spamming or sending unsolicited messages
Sexual Exploitation:
- ❌ Soliciting sexual content or "intimate" photos/videos
- ❌ Sending explicit sexual content without consent
- ❌ Engaging in or promoting sexual services or "sugar dating"
Illegal Activity:
- ❌ Using the App for illegal purposes (drug sales, trafficking, etc.)
- ❌ Violating UK law or laws in your jurisdiction
- ❌ Promoting or facilitating illegal activity
Harmful Content:
- ❌ Posting hate speech, racism, or religious intolerance
- ❌ Promoting violence or extremism
- ❌ Sharing child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
Violation of Islamic Principles:
- ❌ Disrespecting Islamic faith or religious practices
- ❌ Encouraging un-Islamic behavior (alcohol, drugs, premarital sex)
- ❌ Using the platform for immoral purposes contrary to Islamic principles
3.2 Reporting Prohibited Conduct
If you encounter a user engaging in prohibited conduct:
- Screenshot the offense (do NOT engage further)
- Report via in-app reporting tool: Profile Menu → Report User
- Email if necessary: support@healthynikah.com
We will investigate all reports within 48 hours and take appropriate action. We keep your report confidential.
3.3 Serious Crimes
If we discover evidence of serious crime (human trafficking, child exploitation, terrorism, etc.), we will report to UK police and cooperate fully with law enforcement.
4. HEALTHY NIKAH'S FEATURES & SERVICES
4.1 Profile Visibility & Matching
- ✅ You create a profile with your information
- ✅ Other verified users can view your blurred profile
- ✅ When both users express interest, it's a mutual "match"
- ✅ On mutual match, wali (parent/guardian) contact details are exchanged
- ✅ You have 7 days to contact the matched user via direct phone/WhatsApp
4.2 Blurred Profiles & Photo Revelation
Your photo is blurred until you mutually match. Once matched, clear photos are visible to protect privacy and respect Islamic modesty. You cannot control screenshots after a match.
4.3 Wali Contact Sharing (Family Involvement)
A wali is an Islamic guardian. When you match, BOTH parties exchange wali contact info. You agree that your wali contact will be shared with matched users as part of the Shariah-compliant process.
4.4 Direct Contact Only (No In-App Messaging)
Healthy Nikah does NOT have in-app messaging. You communicate directly via phone or WhatsApp. You have 7 days to initiate contact after matching. We are not responsible for conversations on external apps.
4.5 7-Day Response Window & Auto-Refund
If you match and contact a user, they have 7 days to respond. If no response within 7 days, your credit is automatically refunded. The counter starts when YOU contact THEM.
5. PAYMENT, CREDITS & REFUNDS
5.1 Pricing & Payment Terms
The app is free to download and browse. Credits are required for mutual matches. Payments are processed via Stripe or PayPal.
5.2 Credit Packages & Pricing
1 Match Credit = £2.99
5 Match Credits = £12.99
10 Match Credits = £22.99
Unlimited Monthly Subscription = £9.99/month
5.3 Auto-Refund Policy
You get an automatic refund if a match doesn't respond in 7 days or cancels for technical reasons. Credits are returned within 24-48 hours.
5.4 Non-Refundable Items
Credits are NON-REFUNDABLE if: You decide not to contact them, they respond but it doesn't lead to marriage, or you contact multiple times.
5.5 Subscription Terms
Monthly subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled. You can cancel anytime in App Settings. Cancellation is immediate, but you retain access until the current period ends.
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & USER CONTENT
6.1 Our Intellectual Property
Healthy Nikah owns all IP in the App, content, and algorithms. You are granted a limited license to use the App for personal use. You may NOT copy, reverse engineer, or scrape the App.
6.2 Your User Content
You retain ownership of your content. By posting, you grant us a license to use it for the Service. You guarantee you own rights to your content.
7. LIABILITY LIMITATIONS & DISCLAIMERS
7.1 NO WARRANTIES
The Service is provided "AS-IS". We do NOT guarantee matches will lead to marriage or that users are truthful. We disclaim all implied warranties.
7.2 NOT A MATRIMONIAL SERVICE
Healthy Nikah is a platform, NOT a matrimonial agency, legal advisor, or marriage counselor. You are responsible for your own due diligence and consulting Islamic scholars regarding the Nikah.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, we are NOT liable for direct or indirect damages (lost profits, emotional distress, etc.) or third-party conduct. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months or £100 GBP.
9. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify Healthy Nikah from any claims arising from your use of the Service, your violation of this Agreement, or your interactions with other users.
10. TERMINATION & SUSPENSION
10.1 Termination by You
You can delete your account in App Settings. Data is permanently deleted after a 30-day grace period.
10.2 Termination by Healthy Nikah
We may suspend or terminate your account for violating rules, safety reasons, or technical threats.
10.4 Appeal Process
If suspended, email support@healthynikah.com to appeal. We will respond within 7 business days.
11. PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION
Your use is governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect data in accordance with UK-GDPR.
12. THIRD-PARTY LINKS & SERVICES
We are not responsible for third-party websites or services linked in the App. Your use is subject to Apple/Google App Store terms where applicable.
13. DISPUTE RESOLUTION & GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement is governed by English law. Disputes should be resolved via direct communication first, then mediation or legal action in English courts. Alternatively, you may choose binding arbitration (ICDR rules, London).
14. EXPORT CONTROLS & SANCTIONS
You agree not to use the Service to violate export control laws or support sanctioned entities.
15. SEVERABILITY
If any part of this Agreement is invalid, the rest remains in effect.
16. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This Agreement, with our Privacy and Cookie Policies, constitutes the entire agreement between you and Healthy Nikah.
17. AMENDMENTS & CHANGES
We may update this Agreement. Continued use equals acceptance. If you disagree, you must stop using the Service.
18. WAIVER OF CLASS ACTION
You waive the right to class action lawsuits. Disputes will be resolved individually.

20. ACKNOWLEDGMENT
By using Healthy Nikah, you acknowledge you have read these Terms, are 18+, and agree to be bound by them.
21. FINAL NOTES
You are responsible for your own safety. Healthy Nikah is designed for Shariah-compliant matrimony. You can lodge complaints with the ICO if needed.
